Hawaii Cruise

10 days / 9 nights, departing Friday April 21st 2017

Join us on this great cruise at a great price!  We travel aboard Norwegian Cruise Line’s beautiful Pride of America. On your Hawaii cruise vacation you'll see some of the most breathtaking natural beauty in the world. With magnificent waterfalls, fiery volcanoes, lush green valleys and more, it's easy to see why many people call Hawaii paradise...so take a break and relax in Hawaii.

The ship

This state encompasses nearly the entire volcanic Hawaiian Island chain, which is made up of hundreds of islands spread over 1,500 miles (2,400 km). At the southeastern end of the archipelago, the eight "main islands" are (from the northwest to southeast) Ni'ihau, Kaua'i, O'ahu, Moloka'i, Lāna'i, Kaho'olawe, Maui, and Hawai'i.

The views

The last is by far the largest, and is often called the "Big Island" or "Big Isle" to avoid confusion with the state as a whole. This archipelago is physiographically and ethnologically part of the Polynesian subregion of Oceania. There are several areas in Hawaii under the control and protection of the National Park Service. Two areas are designated as national parks: Haleakala National Park near Kula, Maui, includes Haleakala, the dormant volcano that formed east Maui; and Hawaii Volcanoes National Park in the southeast region of the island of Hawaii, which includes the active volcano Kilauea and its various rift zones.

The wildlife

The climate of Hawaii is typical for a tropical area, although temperatures and humidity tend to be a bit less extreme than other tropical locales due to the constant trade winds blowing from the east. Summer highs are usually in the upper 80s °F, (around 31°C) during the day and mid 70s, (around 24 °C) at night.
From bow to stern, Pride of America celebrates her homeland. According to NCL America President & CEO Colin Veitch, her broader theme is the best of America. Public rooms are decorated to suggest regions and cities across the United States and each of three stairwells features a vertical slice of Americana. Huge photographic murals in the stair tower landings depict the beauties of natural America, man-made America, and Pride of America's cruising region - Hawaii. The beauty doesn't stop there, though. Veitch points to her all-American crew as the heart and spirit of the vessel.

The shoreline

The Capital Atrium just might inspire you to stand up and salute. Beneath a "dome" reminiscent of our nation's own capital and a back-lit glass ceiling, you'll find yourself standing on a decorative stone floor inlaid with the Great Seal of the United States. Surrounded by faux stone walls and decorative white balustrades, it's easy to believe you're a special guest at the White House. Nearby, guests sip specialty coffee at the John Adams Coffee Bar, check in at Reception, and discuss tour options with the Shore Excursion staff. Tucked into one corner is East Meets West restaurant and another has comfortable seating in the Atrium Lounge.

Only Norwegian Cruise Line allows you to see four islands with two overnight stays in seven days. This award winning itinerary gives you the most time in port – nearly 100 hours – so you can capture the spirit and soul of Hawaii as you visit Oahu, Kauai, Maui and the Big Island.

Plus – there is NO Passport Required for this cruise!!!
