Amazing Pella Tulip Festival in Iowa

6 days / 5 nights, departing from the Black Hills, Wednesday May 3 2017

FlowersWhatever your idea of a vacation is, you'll experience it in Pella. Immerse yourself in the old-world charm of the Netherlands as you stroll along our brick streets visiting our Dutch storybook storefronts, the Molengracht canal, and the authentic 1850's working windmill.

Don't miss the boyhood home of Wyatt Earp in the Pella Historical Village. And this is just the beginning of your experience! Shop in the exquisite stores filled with imported goods and bask in the sensational smells of the bakeries and meat markets as you purchase goods made from old-family recipes. Settle down for a relaxing meal at one of the many ethnic eating establishments.

Tulip Time in Pella - first Thursday, Friday and Saturday in May. Pella is beautiful and unique all year long, but at Tulip Time it comes alive with tulips, Dutch attire, parades, food, fun and more. Thousands of residents wear Dutch attire and celebrate their Dutch heritage.

Three days each spring, Pella becomes Holland to Pella residents and visitors alike. Travel back in time with us to a European village full of windmills, tulips and excitement as we celebrate the 73rd anniversary of this colorful festival.

Did you know that Tulip Time has 6 parades, 3 afternoon and 3 lighted evening parades. The best location for viewing parades and entertainment is the grandstands. Prior to the evening parades beginning at 7:00 we celebrate Feesthouden.
